Any person who was born in these three panchayath or owns property in this territory can be a member of the Forum. Also persons who have spouses hailing from these areas are also eligible for membership. In general Individuals who can work for the well-being of these three places can take a membership and work for improving the conditions of the needy. Mayyil N.R.I Forum functions under the guidance of a Central Executive committee. The Executive Committee is based in Mayyil consists of representatives working abroad and meets periodically to review and plan their activities at any convenient location. The various duties are de-centralized to several sub-committees by the Executive Committee. Sub-committees such as Welfare Committee and the Service Committee are formed for the smooth coordination of our activity. The Welfare Committee is responsible for constituting all the types of welfare programs under the guidance of the Executive committee. The Service Committee is meant for providing guidance to the members for consular, legal and career related matters. This set up enables us to work more closely with all levels of people and constitute our programs towards the betterment of all members. These arrangements may periodically be review and amended by the executive committee. The prime motive of Mayyil NRI Forum is to retain and reinforce the relations between the members and their families to create a bigger family beyond any vested interests.
